Malta’s Constitutional Court is now a member of the Superior Courts Network within the European Court of Human Rights. The Superior Courts Network comprises a community of judges tasked with implementing the values and principles of the European Convention on Human Rights. Among others, the Network aims to ensure the effective exchange of information between the European Court and the national courts within the Network, on the case-law of the European Court, Convention law and practice and the domestic law of states whose superior courts are members of the Network.
