The 2018 edition of the Chamber of Advocate’s Sant’ Ivo event, saw a record attendance of over 200 guests.
Marking this occasion, mass was held at the Oratory of St John’s Co Cathedral, celebrated by His Grace Archbishop Charles Scicluna. The event, held at the Casino Maltese Valletta, was once again an opportunity to bring warranted lawyers together in an atmosphere of good cheer to celebrate Sant’ Ivo – the patron saint of lawyers.
Pre-lunch toasts and wishes were exchanged at the Casino’s courtyard and complemented by a courtesy visit from H.E. President of Malta, Marie Louise Coleiro Preca.
A customary traditional poem for Sant’ Ivo was prepared and read out by Judge Victor Caruana Colombo and President Emeritus Dr Ugo Mifsud Bonnici, much to the delight of all those present.
The Chamber would like to thank the organizing committee which worked incessantly to ensure another successful event.
